Fathers day

Evening everyone, well no sun in Norfolk today so that was disappointing, 

but it did allow me to get some samples done for Crafters Companion. 

Round my mum & dad`s tomorrow with all the family & i`m so looking forward to that...

nothing better than family time (although crafting comes very close lol)   

We are having an early Father`s day as my mum & dad are on their hols next week

so i thought i`d share the card i made for my dad. As most of you are probably aware

i am an over embellisher, i tend to pack my cards with lots of detail

but i really wanted to keep my dad`s card simple & i`m really pleased 

how this has turned out

I used CC embossaalicious 8x8 folder on the grey backing card

& the stripy charcoal paper is a sample of wallpaper 

I made the topper using scrapbook factory deluxe

& cut with Spellbinders 

The effect i got on dad was a complete mistake - 

I printed onto photo paper & didn`t let the ink dry

so when i put it through my ebosser the ink came off on the mat

but how good does it look...I probably couldn`t do it again if i tried lol

I cut the sentiment using Spellbinders tags die & added some ribbon to each side
