Seaside Memory Box

Been busy again with another memory box, this time for a little boy called Red. I`ve been told he has a seaside themed bedroom & they wanted a box to fit in with that. They have`nt seen it yet so hope they like it. 

I used Storybook for the font & Life`s a Beach for all the seaside decorating 

I used Gypsy Font for Red`s name

& this is from the cart Disney - Mickey Font

This Ships wheel was made using 6 cut outs  which i glued together & glossed with glossy accents

Good evening all, hope you have all had a great day, i`ve been busy with a little girls memory box. I do love doing these boxes & get so much pleasure out of them, i`ve also received orders for another 3 so very happy 

Twilling Ribbon Cards

Evening everyone, a late blog tonight as have been a busy bee all day. Haven`t been about much the last week as have been poorly :( but being poorly does have its advantages as my brain hasn`t stopped working & have had lots of new ideas. I`m loving ribbon at the moment & have been trying to think of different ways to use it, so hope you like the twirling affect i have done on the cards. The first is a card idea i had for my mum & i knew i wanted to use Kanban`s Bella Fiori kit, & i wanted to do a large card so i used an A4 piece of card & added to each side an A5 card. I matted & layered using card from the kit & one of the toppers which i added bronze & gold ribbon which i twilled over & stuck underneath. I found this beautiful verse & framed it with the edges of one of the Bella Fiori toppers, i added the word Mum (which i cut from the cricut cart `Tie the Knot`) & few feathers, flowers & a flourish & this is the end result. Really pleased so i think my mum will love it.

This card looks so pretty & came out better than i imagined, the beautiful rose topper is from the Kanban `So Feminine` kit & the background paper from woodland friends. Again i twilled ribbon (i`m sure someone in the craft world has done this before, but i have not seen it, so to me its my idea lol) A bit of bling & some flowers really set this card off

Another beautiful topper from Kanban & this time i used A thicker ribbon with an edge to add a little va va voom, a touch of lace & some fancy flourishes, Tracey was cut from the cart cricut alphabet

Really pleased with the striking effect the black ribbon has on this card.

Princess In Ribbons

Happy Thursday to you all, hope you have all been busy crafting & keeping well. I have been playing with ribbon & came up with the idea of using it as a twirling curtain for a Ballet dancer (a topper from my fave kit `Kanban` Sugar Buttons) But once i had put the card together it actually looks like one of those acrobats that dance and move with hoisted ribbon so i was really pleased with how it came out.

New Makes

Hi everyone, seems ages since i have blogged but have been busy with home & personal stuff. Getting back to normal now & have had lots of time in my craft room. I`ve had lots of orders so being kept busy :) I have to say i am so impressed with the new Kanban Sugar Buttons kit, it is delightful, so pretty & a definite must have, so if you haven`t got it...TRY AND GET IT...you will love it.

CHRISTMAS CARDS
I was asked to make 4 Xmas cards for some children they are off to see Santa Claus, so all had to be Santa themed.

This were such lovely toppers to work with & found an old paper pad i had a few Christmases ago that worked really well. I designed Jensens name on my Gypsy & added some white flower soft to make it look like snow

Used my Cricut again for the font & cut out a circle in a square to create the frame.

This came out so pretty, i like using worded backing paper....As it says it all :))

Font used is Storybook cricut card & Allien & spaceship are from 3 birds, Life`s a party. I designed it all on my Gypsy.

Winter Woodland cart used for font

Hannah Montana cart used for this one.....Fab cart for lots of musical things.

I used the negative of the letters i cut out from the winter woodland cart & layered it up on white card.
