A touch of sophistication

Hi everyone hope you have had a great weekend, & everyone has enjoyed Mother`s day.

My weekend has been so lovely, i feel totally blessed to have my family, they treat me like a queen & spoil me rotten. We had all the family round for Sunday dinner & my hubby cooked, so a day off for me :).

I did get a card done yesterday so thought i`d share that with you.

An afternoon with my Kanban kits

Hope this Friday finds you all happy & well,

another busy one for me...shopping, housework

& of course - Crafting :) 

I`ve been busy with 3 cards today

& loved doing them all.

2 of them are for 60th birthdays

This is the 1st

I have used the Bella Italiano kit from Kanban

& Spellbinders Dies - Adorning Squares 

& Opulent Ovals. 

I have cut Sue & 60 with Cricut Alphabet cart

The second 60th card is made with the beautiful Lavender Rose Kanban kit

Spellbinders dies - Adorning Squares 

I have again used the Cricut to create the name

The 3rd & final one is another Kanban kit.....Simply Fabulous

I do have a tendency to off set

toppers with there frame

just gives the card a bit of an edge

I have welded Natasha 

together using my

Cricut Gypsy

Spring is in the air

Hi all, i`ve been having a play with a really cute digi from LEJ Designs

Its super cute & perfect for an Easter card for my daughter

 I have used ProMarkers 

On the digi & glittered 

the chest & tail

2 different types of papers 

from my stash were used

& Spellbinders to frame the digi

 & the sentiment, 

which i made on the computer

i  distressed the edges with

Dried Marigold Distress Ink

& added some ribbon to a large button. I then randomly added an assortment of other buttons

ProMarker Colour Chart

Hi everyone hope you are all well. I`ve caught up on all my card orders & schedules for my DT posts, just 2 Wedding post boxes left to do.

I have become a little addicted to colouring in, especially as i have lots of digi`s now. So i have started building a collection of ProMarkers, i only have 25 at the moment & my lovely hubby has just ordered me 2 packs of 12 for Mothers day, i`m so happy :)
I had to share this with you as thought it was such a great way to know what pens you have
& see the true colour of each one 

I found this ProMarker chart which you can find at www.etsy.com/shop/JUSTWORDZ

Once i printed out the sheets i made a book by using 

my Crop O Dile & eyelets 

You simply colour the pens on the allocated square

There`s even a page for new colours

& this if fab...Well it will be when i have some

favourite colour combos lol

I Love Kanban

Afternoon everyone hope you are all well 

& enjoying the warmer temperatures 

(although i don`t think it will last) ;) 

Love the news that Kanban are now doing challenges

I`m quite an addict when it comes to Kanban 

& have built up a fantastic lot of kits

so it was hard to choose what kit to use

to enter the challenge 

My daughter`s friend is 21 next week so i made this card for her

& used the Simply Fabulous kit

I didn`t waste a single thing & layered up different parts of the topper sheet

I cut up one of the matting & layering toppers

& positioned around the card to add interest

I use lots of gems to edge around the shapes 

& picked out the red from the red wine 

with mulberry flowers

Drum `N` Base

Happy Sunday morning, hope you all have lovely things planned. I `m off to Ipswich with the hubby & our youngest daughter to visit friends, & they`re cooking a roast dinner for us.....Yayyyyyy no cooking for me today

We`re going as it`s our friend Johnny`s birthday so taking his card & prezzie. I`m so pleased with his card because as you all know!! Mens cards can be very difficult. Johnny is heavily into Drum `n` Base so i knew i had to do something with music...This is it! hope you like it 

The images are from google & i played about with them in my scrapbook factory

& wrote Johnny`s name through the middle

Had to include some decks as he`s a DJ

The backing paper is from Kanban

& i added some matt black gems 

& some black border peel offs for some interest

Evening everyone, hope you have all had a lovely day, i`ve loved today as got to do a memory box....have not made one in a couple of months & forgot how much i enjoy doing them. 

The flowers were made using Spellbinders & the corners with Spellies D-Lites. The leaves are Cherry Lyn 

This gorgeous card i have used on the sides of the box is Hunkydory

The Fonts are all created with various Cricut carts

Clown Executioner

Hi all not done much crafting today as been out with friends, 

was lovely catching up with them 

as there just doesn`t seem to be enough hours in the day.

I did manage to get my brothers

birthday card done

My brother absolutely hates clowns 

so this image of a clown executioner

was so perfect lol  

I`m loving Spellbinders Cogs die at the moment

it is brilliant for mens cards

The backing paper was just in my crafty stash 

& i used peel offs to frame the image

Hi everyone hope you are all well & happy, I`ve had a busy couple of days so thought i`d better make some time to do some blogging:) This is a  card i made today using Kanban`s Lavender Rose kit, it really is an amazing kit, such subtle colours & is perfectly teamed with rainbow mirri 

(one of my fave products at the moment)

I have used Spellbinders Timeless Elegant to frame the topper & the butterfly is from Spellbinders Les Papilion Two.

I embossed some mauve bazzill card using Cuttlebug Christmas embossing folder & sanded it down to add some definition
