Two For The Boys

Good evening everyone, haven`t blogged for a couple of days, been catching up on all my orders. I did manage to go to a craft show at the weekend & stocked up on some essentials, & treated myself to some more distress inks :)

I bought some topper sheets from the Kraftyhands stall as had a couple of mens cards to make...one for a mechanic & one for a builder so these toppers were brilliant....Hope you like what i`ve done with them. Have a good evening whatever you are doing, crafty hugs to you all xxxxx

Spring is coming

Hope your all enjoying the start of the weekend. i know lots of you have snow but here in Norfolk the sun is out...not sure for how long as forecast is rain.
Won`t be posting tomorrow as i`m going to the Sincerely Yours craft show, i love craft shows & i sooooooo need to stock up on some essentials. Hope whatever your doing this weekend makes it a good one.

I wanted to share with you a card i made with the free Sherri Baldy digi, i`m only a beginner at colouring in, but was pleased with how she came out. She reminds me of my GodDaughter so i thought i`d turn it into a card for her.

I used a leaf background paper from LOTV & the rest of the papers from my stash. Spellbinders Labels twenty-nine were used to create the ladder effect for Daisy`s name, & i added some flowers i made, some leaf & flourish dies & finished with a green & white chiffon bow...Hope you llike her as much as me xxxxx

Good morning...The sun is out in Norfolk this morning & my antibiotics seem to be working, so yayyyyyyyyyyyy to feeling better. Hope everyone else is getting over there colds & illnesses....Roll on the summer.

here`s a card i finished this morning, such a pretty image from Crafters Companion, & worked lovely with the pinks & blues in the backing paper...which is from LOTV .
I have kept it quite simple (which is unlike me lol) but thought such a pretty image just needed some simplicity

Isn`t the Giraffe print paper fab, i found it in my paper stash

& it was perfect with the image i found on Google Images.

The flowers were made using the Cricut cart Flower Shoppe 

& the two tone glitter ones using Tonic pairs punches 

I used distress ink on the ribbon & around the toppers

I off set the frame & used distress ink 

to blend it in with the card

Valentine

Morning all you happy crafters :) 

I`m still full of cold but have managed a couple of cards.

I found this adorable topper in my stash 

& thought it would be perfect for a Valentines card

I used Spellbinders Labels 29 

on the image

All papers were all odd bits i had in my paper/card stash
I added some large black ribbon & made the flower
using the Cricut Flower Shoppe cart
The idea for the split word came from the lovely Lindy Warren who posted the idea on the serif facebook page

I did mine on Scrapbook Factory & after typing HUGS
in the text box i then drew a rectangle though the
middle & the wrote `& Kisses...Great effect & worked
well with this card

Maddie`s Birthday

This is a topper i bought at a craft show
from the lovely Kraftyhands boys.
I used glossy accents on the petals
& basket & used a very pretty heart doily 

Here she is my little treasure 

on the right with her big sis Molly

Baby Shower

Good morning :) its 7am & still dark here in Norfolk but the birds are singing so lets hope the wind is long gone. 

Was asked to make a card for a baby shower....never done one before, so at 1st was stuck for ideas, but then came up with this : I got the image from deposit photos & used a backing card from kanbans Woodland Friends kit, which worked beautifully, I typed some words & made a topper using the scrapbooking factory programme & cut the name using cicut alphabet, added some flourishes & some ribbon. Turned out a really pretty card.
