I`ve coloured this cute image with Spectrum Noir

& the backing paper is from a free paper pad i got with a magazine

I`ve cut the image using Spellbinders Captivating squares

I`ve used Kraft card embossed with Embossalicious Dottie

to layer the image

The sentiment is from Sentimentals `love is all you need

A few for Mothers Day

Hi everyone hope you are all ok. I`ve been busy getting all the bits finished for a friends wedding that is next Saturday, last thing to do today, & that is the table plan, really looking forward to that. So far i`ve done the invites, table numbers, place cards, wedding guest book, wedding post box & a sweetshop sign. Can`t wait to show you all the goodies..................Wedding stuff is so pretty.

Thought i`d take the chance today to show some of the Mother`s Day cards i made

Don`t seem to have had time to show them

This 1st one is made with a Hunkydory kit

Die`s are Marianne, Tattered Lace

not sure what make the flourishes are (sorry)

Sentiment created on the computer

This 2nd one is a digi by Dr Digi & called knitty Nora

the papers were a download

I`ve coloured the image with Spectrum Noirs

& coloured with Spectrum Noirs

The kit i`ve used along side the image is Kanban `So Feminine

New place challenge at Crafters Companion

Hi everyone, we have a new challenge (& a new place) starting at 

Crafters Companion

the theme this month is Floral & you can find the challenge HERE

The challenge is now on Facebook & will be easier for people to enter 

& people who don`t have blogs can now join in, so we hope that covers everyone

For my floral card i chose a monochrome theme, & used a variety of
Die`sire Quilling dies

They include

Sunflower, Rose, Blissful flower, Marigold & Lace flower

I`ve cut the flowers using some different parchment papers & some shimmer grey paper

I started with centura pearl embossed with Embosslicious Seasonal music

Using a brayer, rolled memento `London fog over the top

I then used Die`sire Decadence, again using the brayer, & layered onto black card

The sentiment is Sentimentals Nature

& cut using Die`sire Scalloped tags

 Embossing really is one of my favourite techniques, & i seem to have to emboss at least one element of my cards lol.

If you haven`t tried embossing, have a go, its easy & really effective

New Barkley Concept

Morning all & a very happy Friday to you all, hope you`re all well 

but for those who are not BIG ((((((((((Hugs)))))))))) 

The weekend is nearly here, i have a busy one planned

we have our 3 year old Goddaughter staying with us this weekend

We`re off to centre parcs tomorrow & Sunday we have the

Sincerely Yours craft show in town, so going to treat myself 

to some new goodies, & stock up on some essentials 

So on to Monday & Crafters Companion are bring some new goodies

to the Barkley range......& they`re fabulous

This is one of the new concept cards in the gorgeous papercraft kit

There is lots of extra elements, like decoupage, toppers & sentiments

It is definitely one to add to your crafty stash

Dawn Wheeler will be bringing the new range in a four day deal

starting 8am on Monday 31st on Create & Craft

New Barkley

Morning everyone, i`ve been busy with a new 4DD. 

Crafters Companion are adding some new ranges to the gorgeous Barley

The 4DD will be starting on Monday 31st March

& will be brought to you by the gorgeous Dawn Wheeler

There is a new Papercrafting kit (by Hunkydory)

as well as papers, embossing folder, embellishments, stamps & toppers

This is made from the papercrafting kit

 i`ve used one of the A4 backing card with one of the beautiful toppers

I`ve embossed the card with Embossalicious Flower Power

I love the co-ordinating card with the kit

& especially loved this one with the door

Of course i had to have Barkley to welcome you in lol

I`ve embossed the inside pink card with 

Angelica & Adam Lazy Daisy embossing folder

There is also beautiful matching inserts too

Romance & Decadence

Morning everyone, did you manage to see our lovely Leann on Create & Craft yesterday

& did any of you treat yourselves to the gorgeous new card creator dies

They are absolutely gorgeous

Here are a couple more of my samples you may have seen on the telly

I`ve used Romance (the inner heart) & Decadence to make this 1st one

The card is made using Centura Pearl with the card creator Decadence die

The hearts are from card creator Romance die, using Core`dinations

& gilding wax, the sentiment is Sentimentals Vintage

Made using Card Creator Romance die

& Cordinations, this die is the mirror image, & fold exactly on itself

allowing you to be extremely versatile

Effect - Debossing 

Debossing is using the opposite side of your embossing folder

here i have used Embossalicious Splendour 6x6 folder

Using a brayer i`ve inked the folder before embossing centura pearl 

The papers are from the resource CD-ROM - Free with the mag

The flower was created using Die`sire Sunflower quilling die

The sentiment is Sentimentals Imagine

& cut using Die`sire Cameo stamping frame

Decadence sneak peek

Good morning everyone & a very happy Friday to you all.

Its really exciting to work with new products, 

& i`ve had the privilege to work with some amazing dies, 

new from Crafters Companion Die`sire 

This one is called Decadence

the dies will be with Leann on Sunday

on Create & Craft

What`s fabulous about these dies are, they don`t cut the whole shape out

so this 6x6 die i have centred in the middle of an 8x8 card blank 

The sentiment is sentimentals `Ornate

Create a Card Die

Hi everyone hope you are all well & have had a great weekend, mine has been very exciting,

I have spent my weekend with the lovely Leann Chivers & Louise Welsh from Crafters Companion. I`ve been on a training weekend to hopefully become a future accredited demonstrator for Crafters Companion. It was a fabulous weekend, i learnt so much & met & made some amazing crafty friends.

Another bit of excitement to share with you is some new dies from Die`sire

I have to say they are my favourite dies to date, so intricate & beautiful

there are 6 to choose from, all as gorgeous as the 1st

Todays one i want to show you is Decadence 

These are create a card dies, which means they wont cut the whole image

I made this by using a 6x6 cream card blank 

i rolled my brayer over the cut & embossed card using distress ink Pumice stone

The sentiment is Sentimentals Ornate
